Coming up next week: the Berkhamsted IT Open Day

Exciting times: Berkhamsted is opening its doors next Tuesday for the first time to share what we are doing in terms of IT across the board with colleagues from other schools.

We’ll be hosting about a hundred visitors whose interests are broad; from IT infrastructures and MIS to mobile learning and printing provision. On the teaching and learning side there will be sessions on collaboration, digital literacies and managing change. I’ll be talking about iPads and learners, and sharing some of the insights I’ve gathered leading our school iPad project to those interested in going down a similar path.

We’re incredibly lucky here to work in a school where forward-thinking on IT has become the standard and we’re really looking forward to sharing. I’ll put my presentation up here after the event and look forward to meeting everyone coming along next week!
